Penokean Hills Farms sells sides and quarters of beef at a discount from regular retail pricing. How it works: Quarter orders are charged at $7.15/lb. The final price is based on the 'Hot Hanging Weight' of a carcass quarter. This is the weight of a quarter of beef after it has been dressed and hung at the abattoir. A typical Penokean quarter is about 200lbs-215lbs. You can request a smaller or larger quarter and we will do our best to accommodate. For any quarter order we first take a $500 deposit to secure your animal (payable online or by cash/credit/cheque in person). We then go through a customized cutting sheet with you to suit your specific needs and help give you the best overall value. All of our beef is hung for two weeks to age and then cut to your specs. Once complete, we will email you an invoice with the amount owing and deliver it to your home. You may also pick it up directly at our abattoir. By purchasing this product online, you are paying for the deposit to secure your order. Someone will be in touch with you to customize the order further. With a 30lb roast box order, you will receive free shipping to your home (delivery range from Bruce Mines to Sault Ste. Marie and excluding St Joseph Island). Orders can also be picked up at our abattoir location. Each Roast Box Includes a variety of 3-4lb roasts including Cross Rib, Sirloin Tip, Inside Round, Outside Round, Eye of Round and Blade. Note that all cuts come individually vac-packed. While we do not guarantee any specific cuts, we do guarantee that the package will be good value for your purchase. Boxes may also be ordered anywhere in Ontario but requires us to get a quote on shipping fees involved.
